Community Engagement
At Jump Start, we focus on developing strong life skills, embedding gratitude and teaching our children to be active, generous members of the community. We organize several annual fundraising events to support local non profit organizations and frequently engage with local community leaders.
Through developmentally appropriate discussions about, preparation for and participation in our annual fundraisers, our children learn about the importance of helping others.
Jump Start holds an annual fundraiser for the local Shriners hospital. In 2025, we donated $3,000 on behalf of our Jump Start locations.
We also proudly donated $1,000 in toys to pediatric patients at Shriners Hospital in Springfield who needed some extra joy.

T-Ball and Soccer teams right here in Feeding Hills and West Springfield!
At Jump Start, we believe that a strong community connection is key to fostering a sense of belonging and citizenship. We actively collaborate with local community leaders and invite them to visit and engage with our children.
