Toddlers
Our Toddler Program is for children 15 months - 2.9 years old
At Jump Start, we recognize and celebrate the fact that each toddler develops at his or her own pace, and our Toddler Program is designed to support this individualized growth. We offer 3 toddler classes, which build upon each other, providing our toddlers with increasing autonomy at the same time as we gently help them learn to integrate with a group. With our support, children transition from one class to the other when they are ready to take the next step in this exciting journey from infant to toddler to preschooler.

Outstanding Owls
Once children reach 15 months old, we transition them from our Infant Program into our Outstanding Owls class. Educators continue to support each child individually, while beginning to introduce them to a more structured, group environment with a flexible schedule and prepared activities from which to choose.
Turtles & Darling Ducks
As children continue their individual journeys through Jump Start, educators carefully observe their growth and development. When toddlers become more independent and are also beginning to participate in developmentally appropriate group activities, we transition them into the Darling Ducks or Turtles classes. In these classes, we encourage children to actively participate in classroom activities and to follow our classroom schedule with support.
We thereby offer our older toddlers the structure of a preschool program and introduce them to the skills they will practice in preschool, while providing support and maintaining expectations that are developmentally appropriate for our Darling Ducks and our Turtles.
